The spirit that moves this team of individuals is the same spirit that always makes them available as wives, mothers, daughters, and friends.
They are the heart and backbone of all programs and activities that make up Campesinos Sin Fronteras. Most of them come from an agricultural background, being ex farm workers themselves, which helps them better understand the community they are helping. They understand the suffering, the hard work, the lack of benefits and even the joy that comes from this field of work.
Our Promotoras attend conferences, capacity trainings and sessions to further their ability to lend hand to their fellow community members. They continuously go out in the community to promote health and assist community member by referring them to various services around Yuma County.
